The American Benevolent Society (ABS) is offering assistance to U.S. citizens who want to register as absentee voters for the November 2018 elections on the last Saturday of each month, from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., inside the ABS bookstore,  in room 201 of Union Church, located at Paseo de la Reforma 1870 in Colonia Lomas de Chapultepec.

The ABS will also provide registration assistance during the week, but asks that those wishing to register call ahead to ensure that a volunteer will be available.

Anyone requesting an absentee from outside the United States must register in the year of the election in question.

This is not necessarily the case in every state and in every vote, but it is the general rule for all federal elections.

Since each state has its own requirements, it is best to check at the ABS office or at the U.S. Embassy for specific information regarding your state.
