National Culture Museum Opens Japanese Calendar Exhibit

Mexico’s National World Culture Museum (MCCM) opened an exhibit of more than 150 Japanese calendars for 2019 on Monday, Jan. 7.

The exhibit, organized in cooperation with the Japanese Embassy, includes pictures of Japanese landscapes, temples, castles, volcanos, cherry blossom trees, water paintings and other cultural images.

The exhibit will remain on display at the MCCM, located Moneda 13 in Mexico city’s Centro Histórico, through Jan. 20, and visitors are invited to sign up for a free raffle of the calendars that will be held on Jan. 22.
