The Hyatt House Santa Fe, an extended-stay hotel linked through a overhead bridge to the ABC Medical Center’s Santa Fe, is marking its >fourth anniversary with a Huichol (or Wixárika) art exhibition.

The exhibit, which will remain on display through Oct. 8, features 40 paintings and sculptures crafted by indigenous Huichol artists with beads and yarn.

The pieces are can be purchased through the hotel.

All proceeds from sale of the art will be donated to Huichol artists, their families and their communities

Mexico’s Wixárika are one of its most isolated communities, residing primarily in remote portions of the Sierra Madre Occidental of Jalisco and Nayarit.
