The Colombian theatrical company Teatro Vreve will celebrate its 25th anniversary with a presentation of three short plays in Mexico City’s El Chopo Museum on Friday, May 6, Saturday, May 7, and Sunday, May 8.

The trio of works explore the territories of contemporary theatricalities, transitioning from text theater to action theater through the dramaturgies of landscape, sound and event.

The Teatro Vreve company addresses a staging that is not dramatic, figurative or narrative, but rather oriented to focusing on the presence, the body and the voice of the actor.

The dramaturgy is resolved through a combination of writing and composition that weaves and articulates physical images, offering the public sensitive pieces that invite interaction.

On Friday, the group will present the play “States of Vulnerability” at 8 p.m., on Saturday, it will perform the play “Infierno” at 7 p.m., and on Sunday it will present “Tinkuy of Foxes” at 6 p.m., all directed by  Víctor Viviescas.

Admission for each play is 120 pesos per person (60 pesos for students, teachers and the elderly).

The El Chopo Museum is located at Calle Dr. Enrique González Martínez 10 in Colonia Santa María la Ribera.
