I have been dating a guy for eight months. This morning, over breakfast, he told me he thought we should see other people. I was stunned, but he had to leave for work, so there was no time for a conversation. What shall I do?

Tell him this:

“I thought about what you said. I think it’s a good idea. I’m going to start seeing other people, and YOU won’t be one of them.”  Then turn, go, and don’t look back.

It’s the best decision you can make.
