Thando MaMbokazi Dlomo, the wife of Ambassador Dennis Thokozani Dlomo, will be representing Mexico this year as a finalist at Supreme Queen World 2024 this August, the pageant announced earlier this summer.
Supreme Queen World 2024 allows married, single, divorced and widowed women between the ages of 20 to 55 years who have dual citizenship or reside in foreign countries to compete for its prestigious crown. This year’s finalists include MaMbokazi Dlomo as well as participants hailing from South Africa, Portugal, Russia and other nations.
With an accomplished background in government, administration, public relations and events management, MaMbokazi Dlomo’s prospects as a Supreme Queen World 2024 finalist have only been bolstered by her multi-decade experience in both the modeling industry and the international pageant circuit.
MaMbokazi Dlomo, who resided in Mexico for four years during her husband’s tenure as the South African Ambassador to Mexico and served as a board member at the Asociación de Cónyuges, an organization for spouses of the diplomats in Mexico, has expressed her delight at representing Mexico in the international contest.
“(Representing Mexico) means the world to me,” MaMbokazi Dlomo told Pulse News Mexico exclusively. “I love Mexico so much. I had no idea how much I loved it until I left the country. I promote Mexico every opportunity I get.”
Mexico’s ongoing support for MaMbokazi Dlomo in the pageant is evident, helping her earn her spot as a Supreme Queen World 2024 finalist by contributing to the 10,000-plus public votes required to proceed to the contest’s final round.
MaMbokazi Dlomo told Pulse News Mexico that the most rewarding part of participating in pageants like Supreme Queen World 2024 is “the platform it gives one to interact with people from all walks of life. This involves the ability to engage government leaders, community and the media, and showing the world that it is possible to be beautiful and intelligent.”
The Supreme Queen World 2024 finalist aims to use her platform by “motivating women from different backgrounds to pursue their dreams and not to let themselves go. Women globally face lots of discrimination and abuse. One encourages women to exercise and look after their health and mental wellbeing.”
The winner of Supreme Queen World 2024 is slated to be crowned on August 3 at the Indaba Hotel in Johannesburg, South Africa, where MaMbokazi Dlomo herself will be present.
