1,300-Year-Old Maya Head Unearthed at Palenque
PULSE NEWS MEXICO A stucco head of a young Maya god of corn, dating back over 1,300 years, was unearthed in the Palenque archeological zone in the southern state of Chiapas, Mexico’s National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH) reported Tuesday, May 31.
