By THE PULSE NEWS MEXICO STAFF Just as confirmed covid-19 cases in Mexico passed the 4-million mark and covid deaths surpassed 300,000, President Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO) on Friday, Jan. 7, announced that the country’s health regulator, the Federal Commission for Protection against Sanitary Risks (Cofepris), had granted emergency authorization for the use of Merck’s covid treatment pill, Molnupiravir.
