The International Women’s Club of Mexico City (IWC) will hold a cookie exchange morning on Wednesday, Dec. 13, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at a private home in Coyoacán.

There is no charge for the event, but members are asked to bring between two and three dozen home-baked cookies to trade among themselves, plus a handful of taste-test samples.

Participants should also bring a Tupperware container or other receptacle to take home cookies.

Each participant will take home the same number of cookies they contribute.

And to avoid sugar shock, participants are also asked to bring a savory dish to be shared during the event.

For more information and to register to participate, check out the IWC’s webpage at http://www.newcomers.org.mx.

The International Women’s Club, formerly known as the Newcomers Club, is a nonprofit social organization open to all.
