The American Benevolent Society’s (ABS) December health screening will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 13, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., in room 204 at the organization’s offices inside Union Church, located at Paseo de la Reforma 1870 in Colonia Lomas de Chapultepec.

There will be free screenings for glucose, cholesterol, triglycerides, high blood pressure and body fat index.

Those who wish to be screened should come with an eight-hour fast for maximum accuracy.

A courtesy continental breakfast will be offered after the screenings.

Also, the ABS staff doctor, Ricardo Rojas, will be available for consultation by previous appointment on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

The offices now have a motorized chairlift for those who have problems climbing stairs.
