The third consecutive edition in Mexico of the International Sirha Food Service and Hospitality Expo will be held at Mexico City’s World Trade Center from Wednesday, April 11, through Friday, April 13.
The expo, which began 30 years ago in Lyon, France, is considered to be one of the most important events in the food and hospitality industry.
This year, the Mexican edition of the expo will once again be headed by renowned chef Josefina Santacruz, who has spearheaded the La Trufa and Mai Pei restaurants in Mexico, Zengo in Washington D.C. and La Sandía in Denver.
She also worked as an executive chef at Pámpano in New York, which has been rated at the best Mexican restaurant in that city by the New York Times.
She is currently the head chef and a partner owner of Sesame, an Asian fusion ans Asian street food bistro in Mexico City’s Colonia Roma.
