Still trying to figure out plans for the weekend?

How about exploring one of Mexico City’s historic neighborhoods, supporting local businesses and shopping Hecho-en-México?

Bunker Bazar is happening this weekend in Colonia Roma, and will showcase a selection of local artisans and entrepreneurs.

Joyería Mimosa, Marla Escarlata and Fundación Kanxoc will be among the featured craftsmen, displaying goods ranging from jewelry, toys and gourmet products.

Colonia Roma is one of Mexico City’s most historic neighborhoods, with homes dating from the colonial and Porfiriato periods.

Designated as a “barrio mágico” (“magic neighborhood”) in 2011, exploring Roma is a full day adventure as it’s streets are lined with shops, galleries, cultural centers and some of the city’s best eateries.

Bunker Bazar will take place on Saturday, July 21, and Sunday, July 22 in Colonia Roma on Jalapa 90.
