Shot in Poland, Italy and Japan, the film, which was directed by Michał Kondrat and premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in 2017, has a cast of prominent Polish actors, including Adam Woronowicz, Cezary Pazura, Artur Barciś and Dominika Figurska.
The film will be projected in select Cinemax theaters nationwide and will run through the end of October.
In cooperation with the Catholic Church in Mexico, each month the cinema chain is presenting a new international film with religious themes.
