If you are a U.S. citizen living abroad who has already registered to vote, the last day to have your absentee ballot for the Nov. 6 midterm elections sent via the U.S. Embassy is on Friday, Oct. 26, at 1 p.m.

With a close race for a number of house and senate seats on the line, the results of which could influence which party will control the U.S. Congress for the next two years, political analysts are predicting that voter turnout could be the highest in 50 years.

Every vote counts, so make sure you get your ballot in on time.
