The Mexico City Philharmonic Orchestra (OFCM), led by its artistic director Scott Yoo, presented its first Mexico city Government-sponsored concert of the year at the Templo de Santo Domingo church in downtown Mexico City on Saturday, Jan. 19.

The standing-room-only concert consisted of a performance of Baroque music, including works by George Frideric Händel, Franz Joseph Haydn, Johann Sebastian Bach and Antonio Vivaldi, and opened a five-months season of classical music in the nation’s capital.

A repeat performance of the concert was offered on Sunday, Jan. 20, at the Centro Cultural Roberto Cantoral in Colonia Xoco.
