At age 11, Mexican junior blogger Ana Emilia is already a big success.
Her self-scripted, self-directed YouTube program “TV Ana Emilia” (starring, of course, Ana Emilia) has been running for three straight years, and has a whopping 4.7 million viewers who follow her daily accounts of family life and school.
Now, Ana Emilia has another feather in her cap.
On Tuesday, March 26, the Spanish toy company Famosa launched its first Nancy doll modeled after a Mexican child, and, yes, you guessed it, that child is Ana Emilia.
The limited edition dolls, which are part of a vast collection of Nancy dolls dating back more than 40 years, are being sold exclusively in Mexico at Liverpool department stores.
For now, the company has only produced 3,000 of the Ana Emilia Nancy dolls, but plans to expand production in the near future and to add a selection of Ana Emilia clothing and accessories to complement the doll.
The Ana Emilia Nancy doll sells for just under 600 pesos.
