As part of an extensive outreach program to help the nation’s children during the back-to-school season, Best Buy México now provides free online and over-the-phone technological  support for all computers, regardless of where they were purchased.

The free tech program, which will be continued indefinitely, was announced by Best Buy’s director in Mexico, Ricardo Rivera, during a press conference on Thursday, Aug. 13.

“In today’s world, technology has become a key factor in education,” Rivera said.

“It is going to be crucial to the success of Mexico’s new virtual education, and we want to do our part to help the children of Mexico to excel in their classes.”

To access the free tech help, consult the Best Buy México webpage or call 55-5237-8289. Free tech advise is available Monday trhough Saturday from 9 a.m. to  9 pmm.

Best Buy is also helping lower income students to get access to electronic technology through a new rent-to-buy program (for those who do not have credit), easy no-contact delivery platforms and a program to allow any of its 47 stores nationwide to obtain any of more than 10,000 products in its inventory through internet communications.
