The low-cost Mexican air carrier Interjet abruptly canceled all flights programmed for Sunday, Nov. 1.
In a brief message sent out to all scheduled passengers, Interjet announced that the entirety of its 19 flights for Sunday would be suspended and reprogrammed starting on Tuesday, Nov. 3.
The airline, based out of Mexico City, also made the announcement on Twitter, but offered no explanation for the cancelations.
Notwithstanding, the company, owned by the Alem’an family, has reported financial problems in recent months.
Interjet is Mexico’s third-largest airline, after Aeroméxico and Volaris.
