Amistad Británico-Mexicana, the nonprofit disaster relief organization founded by members of the British community in Mexico after the devastating 1985 earthquake, is now producing and donating free-of-charge protective visors to front-line medical personnel.

Building on the earlier successes of its campaign, “Masks Save Medics, Medics Save Lives,”
Amistrad, with support from both the British Embassy and the British community, has scaled up its outreach operations to now also provide much-needed visors to the neediest of healthcare workers through three major health foundations: Fundación IMSS, Fundación ISSEMYM and Voluntariado
ISEM.

To date, Amistad has a total of 34,540 visors to 98 different hospitals.
