As part of a broader commemoration of 75 years of bilateral diplomatic relations between Switzerland and Mexico, the Swiss Embassy in Mexico City is sponsoring a 26-piece exhibit of watch and clock designs at the Franz Mayer Museum.

The exhibit, titled “Design around the Clock,” presents pieces of watchmaking made between 2015 and 2020.

It includes wristwatches, table clocks and cuckoos.

Each pieces is an examples of current design trends and technological innovations developed for haute horlogerie by students from the University of Art and Design of Geneva, Switzerland (HEAD – Genève), an institution specializing in international watch design.

The exhibit, which will be inaugurated on Thursday, May 13, will remain on display at the Franz Mayer Museum through Aug. 8.

The museum is located at Hidalgo 45 in the capital’s Centro Histórico.
