For the fifth year in a row, the ABC Medical Center in Mexico — at both its Observatorio and Santa Fe campuses — was granted accreditation from the Joint Commission International (JCI) in quality and safety standards.
The Joint Commission International measures 303 hospital quality and safety standards and evaluates institutions in more than 100 countries.
It is considered to be the most rigorous accreditation in international health care.
In Mexico, only four hospitals have this accreditation and two belong to the ABC Medical Center complex.
The ABC Medical Center is the only internationally certified hospital in Mexico recognized by the JCI for the care of cerebrovascular diseases (stroke).
