The Mexico City-based Hotelero Santa Fe property group announced last week the development of a massive 24-story hotel and high-end residence real estate project along the central section of the capital’s longest roadway, Avenida Insurgentes.

The project, which is located at 724 Insurgentes Sur, adjoining the World Trade Center and David Alfaro Siqueiros Museum in Colonia Nápoles, will include a Hyatt Regency Hotel, a gastronomic center and 87 private residences.

The complex will be marketed internationally by Related Group, one of the largest real estate developers in the United States.

During the launch of the project at a breakfast event at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Colonia Polanco, Carlos Ancira, president of Grupo Hotelero Santa Fe, highlighted some of the new complex’s state-of-the-art services, including a full work-out gym, a roof-garden swimming pool, and on-site luxury boutiques and restaurants.

The 724 Insurgentes complex boasts a privileged location in the financial heart of southern Mexico City and will be home to the first five-star hotel on Avenida Insurgentes, with 13 levels and 247 guest rooms.

It will also include nine levels of luxury one- and two-bedroom residences with hotel service, amenities, 24-hour security and two private floors for dining and entertainment.

The massive complex is slated to open in October 2022.
