The Mexican hotel and restaurant chain Grupo President will add the Cielo Winery & Resort in Valle de Guadalupe to its 22-property portfolio as of Sept. 1, the group announced Monday, June 29.

The new hotel and winery were developed as a vino tourism project  by Gustavo Ortega Joaquín, the resort’s general director, and his partners José Luis Martínez and Dolores López Lira.

This avant-garde project offers visitors an unforgettable oenological and gastronomic experience within the confines of a major wine estate.

The hotel has 85 luxury suites,  two presidential villas and two haute cuisine restaurants.

The master suites have fireplaces and fire pits on their private terraces, and the junior suites have balconies with views of the estate’s vineyards and reservoirs.

“We are very excited about the entry of El Cielo Winery & Resort into our portfolio,” said Grupo Presidente CEO Braulio Arsuaga Losada.

El Cielo Winery & Resort is located in Valle de Guadalupe, in Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico’s important wine region in the country.
