Mexican synchronized divers Gabriela Agúndez and Alejandra Orozco won Mexico the bronze metal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics Games on Tuesday, July 27.

The pair won in the women’s 10 meters synchronized platform diving.

Agúndez and Orozco were one of the great hopes of the Mexican team.

Agúndez won a silver medal at the 2019 Pan American Games and Orozco won another silver medal at the London 2012 Olympic Games together with Paola Espinosa.

Mexico also won a bronze metal in mixed team archery team made up of Alejandra Valencia and Luis Álvarez on Saturday, July 24.
