The American Benevolent Society will host an abbreviated version of its annual health fair on Friday, Oct. 22, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Union Church, located at Reforma 1870 in Colonia Lomas de Chapultepec.
This year, because of the ongoing covid-19 pandemic, the fair will mainly consist of the administration of flu (Fluzactal Tetra), pneumonia (Pulmovax), shingles (Zostavax) and boostrix (Difteria, tosferina & tetanus) vaccines.
No other services will be available.
To ensure the safety and health of all, the shots will be administered by appointment only.
The price of the flu shot will be 750 pesos for ABS members and 850 pesos for nonmembers.
Pneumonia vaccines will be 900 pesos for members, and 1,000 pesos for nonmembers, shingles shots will be 2,450 pesos for members and 2,550 pesos for nonmembers, and boostrix vaccinations will cost 600 pesos for members and 700 pesos for nonmembers.
If possible, those wishing to receive a shot are asked to pay in advance through a deposit into the ABS account at Banamex or Banorte.
