Cenart Offers Kid-Suitable Opera and Ballet Fest

Mexico’s National Center for the Arts (Cenart) is slated to present “Imaginary Opera, and Ballet Too,” an comic interpretation of operatic works and classical dance aimed at children, thorough the month of July.

The series, which will be performed in Cenart’s Theater of the Arts, will open with a work by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart adapted to Spanish, which will be on Saturdays and Sunday from July 2 through July 10, at 1:30 p.m.,

The Saturday, July 9, performance, will also be streamed live on Cenart’s social media.

There will be subsequent performances of other classical music and dance directed at children throughout the rest of July.

Cenart at located at Avenida Río Churubusco 79, in Mexico City’s Colonia Country Club Churubusco in Coyoacán.

Tickets are 100 pesos each and can be purchased at the door or through Ticketmaster.
