After seven years in Mexico, the head of the World Bank’s International Finance Corporation in Mexico, Norbert Schneider, and his wife Yudith Malamud, will be leaving the country early next week.
Schneider is being transferred by the World Bank to Panama, along with Malamud and their three children, Joseph, Jennifer and Jonathan.
But before she left, Malamud was toasted with a lavish Mexican-style luncheon — replete with mariachis — at the Villa María restaurant in Colonia Polanco by close friends and members of the diplomatic community, organized by Anahilda Skalicky, wife of the regional director of U.S. Wheat Mitchell Skalicky, on Wednesday, July 6.
