An exhibition of 30 large-format photographs of Peru and Amazonia is slated to open on Friday, July 22, along Avenida Paseo de la Reforma along the Walk of the Friendly Cultures, located between the Ahuehuete Roundabout and Avenida Insurgentes.
The images, which are being presented by the Peruvian Embassy in Mexico in cooperation with the Mexico City Culture Secretariat to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the establishment of bilateral diplomatic relations, provide a photographic journey through the six regions of Peru: Arequipa, Cusco, Ica, Lima, Puno and the Peruvian Amazon.
Captured through the lens of some of Peru’s most prominent photographers, the collection showcases both natural and cultural attractions is vivid living color, inviting viewers to visit the South American nation in person.
The open-air photo exhibition will remain on display through Aug. 28.
