Cirko de Mente, Mexico’s answer to Cirque du Soleil, will offer free performances at the Unidad Habitacional Fuentes Brotantes, located in Mexico City’s southern Tlapan neighborhood, every Friday, Saturday and Sunday of November.
The group, which had its debut during the October International Cervantino Festival in Guanajuato, is aimed at promoting, disseminating and vindicating the circus arts in Mexico.
Through traditional circus acts such as hand-to-hand balancing, acrobatics, eccentric juggling, aerial ribbons and capillary suspension, the Cirko de Mente performers present some of the Mexican circus’ most-admired acts.
Cirko De Mente kicked off the three-weekend season on Friday, Nov. 11, on pure strength and talent with circus acts such as hand-to-hand balance, hand acrodance, eccentric juggling, aerial tapes, capillary suspension, mast and Cyr wheel.
Cirko De Mente will also perform on Saturday, Dec. 3, at the Esperanza Iris City Theater, for which tickets can be purchased on site or via Ticketmaster.
The free November performances will be held on Fridays at 8 p.m., Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 6 p.m.
