The American Benevolent Society (ABS) in Mexico City hosted its annual end-of-year holiday luncheon — a succulent buffet of roast turkey, smoked ham, mashed potatoes, steamed asparagus and garden salad — at Christ Church Parish on Wednesday, Dec. 14.
In addition to the delicious homemade meal, attendees shared in the spirit of the season as they joined their voices in a moving rendition of traditional Christmas carols led by singer and guitarist David Santos.
Founded in 1868, the American Benevolent Society is a nonprofit organization that provides charitable assistance to both U.S. and Mexican nationals during periods of personal distress or financial need.
