Retrospective of French-Israeli Filmmaker Opens at Cineteca Nacional

A retrospective of works by French-Israeli filmmaker Amos Gitai opened at Mexico City’s Cineteca Nacional on Tuesday, Jan. 17.
The retrospective includes 25 of Gitai’s films, including both documentaries and feature films.
During the projection of the first film in the series, “Laila in Haifa,” Gitai was presented the National Cineteca Medal.
The Cineteca Nacional, Mexico’s national film center, is located at Avenida México Coyoacán 389 in Mexico City’s Xoco Alcaldía.
The Gitai retrospective will run through early February.
