The Paris-based luxury fragrance and fashion brand Carlo Corinto launched a sensuous duo of male and female eau d’parfums in Mexico on Wednesday, March 15, with a one-night-only, all-senses-pampered extravaganza intended to capture the essence of the two new scents, Carlo Contino One Night Man and Carlo Corionto One Night Woman.
The One Night by Carlo Corinto celebration, held inside a private salon in an upscale Colonia Polanco building, included indulgences for every sensibility, with cinnamon-smoked mezcal cocktails, tangy tempura shrimp and sweet-and-sour veggie spring rolls, the pulsating sounds of a DJ-curated contemporary mashups, lavish selfie-sets with golden backdrops and, of course, a perfume-scented aura that engulfed the entire atmosphere.
For the first time ever, Carlo Corinto has enlisted style ambassadors to promote the new fragrances: Mexican television heartthrob Andrés Baida and Mexican film star Carla Adell, both of whom reflect the night-to-remember theme of the two eau d’parfums.
One Night Man, a sensuous blend of fruits and oriental woods, opens with a tantalizing fusion of bergamot, golden apples and geranium that bursts into a lustrous heart of vanilla, mint and vetiver, with lingering arboraceous notes of tonka beans, cedar and moss.
The complementing One Night Woman captures attention with a rush of lush pomegranate, clementine and papyrus that unfurls into a seductive floral heart of thrush, tiare flower and white roses to finish with a woody background of ebony, Australian sandalwood and musk.
Both fragrances come in sleek metal flasks in the form of a “1,” in an understated black color for men and a glam gold for women.
