Just in time for the spring travel season, Samsonite launched a new boutique inside the Oasis Coyoacán shopping mall on Wednesday, March 22.
The store, the 29th of the Luxembourg-based suitcase and travel accessory giant in Mexico, is also the company’s first new store in Mexico since the start of the covid-19 pandemic in March 2020.
“Unfortunately, we had to close down several of our stores in Mexico during the pandemic,” said Manuel Martín, the brand’s director for North America, during the opening ceremony. “But now we are back now stronger than ever, and we betting on the travel market to grow exponentially in Mexico.”
Martín went on to explain that the new store, located on the ground floor of the Oasis Coyoacán shopping mall, between Bizzaro and Old Navy, not only offers a broad selection of high-end Samsonite luggage and travel accessories, but also has a range of the company’s subsidiary lines, including American Tourister.
Founded in 1910, the Samsonite brand is today the world’s best-known and largest travel luggage company.
The Samsonite legacy is one of designing products that last, with a strong focus on sustainability and innovation.
