Three U.S. citizens who were sailing from to San Diego, California, to Mazatlán, Sinaloa, went missing on April 4, just north of that Mexican coastal resort town, according to the U.S. Coast Guard.
The three Americans — Kerry O’Brien, Frank O’Brien and William Gross — were aboard a 44-foot fiberglass LaFitte vessel heading to Cabo San Lucas when last seen.
They were due to arrive in Cabo on April 6 to stock up on provisions, but never showed up, the Coast Guard said.
The Mexican Navy is working with the U.S. Coast Guard to try to locate the trio.
