Searching for sleep tracks on Spotify
With the intention of a restful night
A babbling brook or rushing stream
No barking dog or primal scream
I opt for something soothing, cute
Ocean waves and a funky flute
Yet the track abruptly ends at half past three
And I am cast into audio unfamiliarity
An electric guitar rather frantic and stressed
Upset my previously peaceful rest
Too early to awaken, yet wide awake
No more soundtracks for sleep
(I made a mistake!)
