10 Murdered, Nine Wounded in Ensenada Car Show Shootout

At least 10 people were shot dead and another nine injured during an armed attack at an auto show in the town of Ensenada in the northwestern Mexican state of Baja California on Saturday, May 20.

Social media videos and images showing the aftermath of the attack, with vehicles riddled with bullets and bodies lying on the ground, went viral Saturday afternoon as authorities began to investigate the tragedy.

In one video, several men with rifles are seen firing at one of the cars taking part in the rally as spectators flee in terror.

As of late Sunday, May 21, no arrests had been made, and Baja California authorities had not divulged any motive for the attacks.
