U.S. singer and songwriting megastar Taylor Swift announced Friday, June 2, that she will offer three performances in Mexico City in August as part of the first round of international stops for her Eras Tour.
Swift has already performed the Eras Tour in the United States and Canada, mostly to sell-out crowds.
Swift will play three dates in Mexico’s Foro Sol Stadium starting Aug. 24.
After several weeks of speculation about the extension of her tour to Latin America, Swift’s commercial representatives announced on social networks Friday that tickets for her Mexico concerts — which are expected to sell out almost immediately — will go on presale as of Wednesday, June 7 at 11:59 p.m.
Presale registrations will be available on line, and access will be prioritized for residents of Mexico, Swift’s official OCESA sales account stated.
The sale for the concert on Aug. 24 will start on Tuesday, June 13; for Aug, 25, on Wednesday, June 14, and for Aug, 26, on Thursday, June 15.
This will be the first time that Swift will perform in Mexico, since she has not included any Latin American country during her previous tours.
In addition to Mexico, Swift will perform in Argentina and Brazil in November.
