Jogging, Day Two
So what
if you can’t whoosh
like a salmon upstream
You’re still trying your best
already on winning team
No, you’re not a jaguar
prowling with finesse
just sweaty, determined
trying your best
prowling with finesse
just sweaty, determined
trying your best
Not hopping like a rabbit
nor galloping like a horse
yet making fine progress
and on the right course
nor galloping like a horse
yet making fine progress
and on the right course
You’re a star
You’re a star
exactly where you are
A striving-to-grow-human
(not a crazy racing car)
You’re a star
exactly where you are
A striving-to-grow-human
(not a crazy racing car)
