By THE PULSE NEWS MEXICO STAFF Mexico’s state-run oil company Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex) late Friday, July 2, reported a massive natural gas leak from the rupture of an underwater pipeline in the Gulf of Mexico. The leak, which led to a gigantic fire on the water’s surface, occurred at the offshore Ku-Maloob-Zaap rig about 500 feet from a drilling platform.
