At least 86 people were injured early Thursday, April 7, when a public transport bus crashed along Mexico City’s Avenida Reforma, ramming into the side of a Metrobús vehicle, authorities reported.

According to Miguel Hidalgo Mayor Mauricio Tabe, there were no serious injuries and all 85 victims were transferred to nearby hospitals.

Miguel Hidalgo sources said that the crash was due to the recklessness of the passenger bus driver, who was allegedly speeding at the time.

Another major Mexico City accident was also reported on Thursday when the driver of a tracker trailer truck lost control and overturned, crashing his vehicle into the retaining wall of the Line 5 Metro, injuring at least four people.
