
The American Benevolent society (ABS) in Mexico will host a lavish Mexican Independence Day taquiza luncheon at Christ Church Parish, located at Montes Escandinavos 405 in Mexico City’s Colonia Lomas de Chapultepec, on Friday, Sept. 9, at 1:30 p.m.
The menu will include tacos of pork ropa vieja, chicken tinga, pork skin in green sauce, rice, beans, chilies in cream, chorizo with potatoes and cactus salad.
All those wishing to attend should make a reservation through the ABS office or by calling 55-5520-2308 no later than Wednesday, Sept. 7.
The cost of the luncheon for ABS members is 150 pesos, and 200 pesos for nonmembers.
