A new, avant-garde, hands-definitely-on Immersive Experience has opened inside the garage area of Mexico City’s Palacio de Hierro Polanco which allows audiences to not only delve firsthand into the artistic expression of the work, but actually become a part of it.
Especially designed for Palacio by a team of Mexican artists, the multi-sensory experience includes wrap-around videos that interact with the audience’s movements; mindboggling, abstract-sound music; and a laydown reenactment of what astronauts go through during their first few minutes in space.
The experience consists of six separate rooms of activities and is open to the public daily from 11:10 a.m. to 8:20 p.m. through July 25.
There is a 200-peso-per-person admission fee and the entire experience lasts about 40 minutes.
The Immersive Experience is located on the underground parking Level 1 of Palacio de Hierro Polanco, located at Moliere 222.
